ArtSpace, a public charter school in Swannanoa, was heavily damaged this past Tuesday morning when heavy rains caused a bank near the school to collapse, flooding the building with mud and water. Extensive cleanup efforts – supported by school staff and teachers, community volunteers, and professional contractors – have been underway for several days, but much remains to be done.
