The Black Mountain Library is starting a seed lending library to enable more people to grow their own food and share seeds. The seed library will be stocked with donated heirloom and open-pollinated seeds from Sow True Seed and Seed Savers Exchange, and will include a variety of vegetables, herbs and flowers. Seeds are free to everyone with a current North Carolina public library card. Learn more at an orientation on March 24.
Join us for the grand opening of the Black Mountain Library’s Seed Library. The Seed Library is called Black Mountain Blooms and the orientation will be Saturday, March 24 at 11am. This seed library is free with your library card, but please register for orientation by emailing Blackmountainblooms@gmail.com or contacting the Black Mountain Library at 828-250-4756.
