Join the North Carolina Arboretum for a fun and fact-filled discussion of the birds all around us. Have you ever wondered what birds do in winter – which stay and which travel far away? Your arboretum specialist will have the answers to this and many other questions. At this free program, you’ll also learn how to become a citizen-scientist and be a part of ecoExplore, a program that connects school children with real scientists in studies of our environment.
This program is for ages 7 and up, and takes place at the Swannanoa Library on Tuesday, November 14, at 6:30 p.m. The library is located at 101 West Charleston Avenue. For info, call 828-250-6486.
