The meeting will provide an overview of the series, with details about the individual hikes, advice for hikers, and information about scholarships. The hiking series is sponsored by the Swannanoa Valley Museum and consists of 11 monthly hikes that take place on Saturdays from February through December.

Hikers who complete the series will navigate the entirety of the rim on hikes ranging in length from 3 – 8 miles. This exclusive program offers experienced hikers the opportunity to explore remote and little-traveled territory while learning about the history, geography, hydrology, and environment of the Swannanoa Valley.
