Live Theater at Black Mountain Center for the Arts

Get your tickets now for The Front Porch Theatre’s upcoming production of The Queen of Bingo, a riotously funny comedy about two middle-aged sisters who love to play – you guessed it – BINGO! The play, which has delighted audiences around the country, was written by Jeanne Michaels and Phyllis Murphy, and is produced by special arrangement with Dramatists Play Service. During the performance, each audience member receives a bingo card to play along with, and the winner receives a frozen turkey!

This is The Front Porch Theatre’s fourth season. Past productions have included Quilters, Greater Tuna, Steel Magnolias, Turn of the Screw, The Dixie Swim Club and Fully Committed.

Performances of The Queen of Bingo will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, May 12, 13, 19 and 20, with a matinee on Sunday, May 14, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by calling 828-669-0930, or visiting www.BlackMountainArts.org and clicking on the Front Porch Theatre tab. The Black Mountain Center for the Arts is located at 225 West State Street.
