Are you new to Medicare? Are you confused by the many choices? Unbiased and accurate information is available at a free workshop, Medicare Choices Made Easy, offered by The Council on Aging of Buncombe County. The class will explain how Medicare works, the enrollment process, how to avoid penalties, and ways to save money.
Medicare Choices Made Easy is designed for newcomers to Medicare, caregivers, people moving to Medicare from employer health insurance, and anyone interested in planning for their own future. The information presented is unbiased – no products are sold, recommended, or endorsed.
Classes will be held at locations throughout the county between now and April 10, including a class on Tuesday, March 7, from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Black Mountain Library, 105 N. Dougherty Street.
