Tiny Tots Yoga is a free class for babies and toddlers up to 2 years, accompanied by a caregiver (parent, friend, or guardian). This highly active class integrates songs and music with yoga exercise. The class offers poses that support a toddler’s increased mobility and physical explorations. During Tiny Tots Yoga, crawlers and walkers will playfully practice yoga postures in seated, standing, walking, and jumping positions. No prior yoga experience is needed, and yoga mats will not be used.
Tiny Tots Yoga takes place twice a month at the Swannanoa Library, 101 West Charleston Avenue. The next classes are on Wednesdays, April 24, May 8 and May 22, at 11 a.m. For info, call the library at 828-250-6486.
