Swannanoa neighbors – on Saturday, February 16, at 9:00 a.m., volunteers are needed to help transfer all of the Swannanoa Library book sale books from the storage container near the performance pavilion back into the basement of the Swannanoa Library. The books have been in storage for several months while extensive work was completed in the library basement, where the Friends of the Library’s year-round book sale is housed.
If you’re able, please come, and bring a few friends and neighbors to lend a hand! Even if you can only volunteer for 30 minutes, every bit helps!
A quick update — After the basement flood/plumbing issues back in November, a LOT of work has been done. The basement floor has been ground and polished. Most of the walls have been painted. New shelving for the year-round book sale is now on site and ready for installation. We’re looking forward to a grand re-opening of the new and improved book sale soon!
