by FANS Admin
February 25th, 2013

AARP Foundation Tax-Aide, in cooperation with the IRS, N.C. Dept. of Revenue, Council on Aging and Buncombe County Public Libraries, is offering free tax preparation for taxpayers with low and moderate income, with special attention to those age 60 and older. The service will be available at the Black Mountain Library every Tuesday from 10 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., through April 9. The free service is also being offered on various days and times at Pack Memorial Library, West Asheville Library and Weaverville Library. Both federal and N.C. state returns will be electronically filed for safe and accurate preparation and faster refunds.
