HAPPY HOLIDAYS FROM THE
SWANNANOA PRIDE COMMUNITY COALITION
We hope you’re enjoying the holiday wreaths that are now mounted on the utility poles along US 70 between Patton Cove Road and Whitson Avenue in Swannanoa.
The wreaths were donated by the Town of Black Mountain and the Black Mountain – Swannanoa Chamber of Commerce. The cost of purchasing the mounting hardware and hanging the wreaths was covered by donations from businesses and residents in Swannanoa, and from SPCC. Thank you so much to all those who contributed!
As far as we know, this is the first time in many years that Swannanoa’s streets have been decorated for the holidays. Next year, we hope to add electrical outlets to the poles so that the wreaths can be illuminated at night.
If you have not yet had the chance to see the wreaths, we hope you can do so soon. Best wishes for a healthy and happy holiday season.
