For those trying to navigate the often confusing maze of Medicare choices, help is on the way! The Council on Aging, in conjunction with the Seniors’ Health Insurance Information Program is offering a free information session on Wednesday, August 20, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Black Mountain Library, 105 Dougherty Street. The session is free, and will explain how Medicare works, the enrollment process, how to avoid penalties, and ways that beneficiaries might save money. The information is unbiased and accurate; no products are sold, recommended or endorsed.
