On Saturday, July 26, join local authors Mary and Joe Standaert for a presentation on the history of the Swannanoa Valley and their newest book, Swannanoa Valley: A Postcard History. The couple will sign books (available for sale at the event) after their presentation. The free program begins at 10:30 a.m. at the Swannanoa Valley Museum, 223 West State Street, in Black Mountain.
