Swannanoa Valley kids are enjoying their last days of summer vacation before they head back to school for the start of a very different kind of school year on Monday, August 17. Buncombe County schools will follow “Plan B Beyond” for the opening of the school year. The majority of instruction will be remote, at least initially, though students will have the option to meet their teachers and attend in-person orientation during the first one-to-two weeks of school.
Our thoughts are with our Swannanoa Valley children, families, teachers, administrators and volunteers as they navigate these uncharted waters. Best of luck!
