The Breakfast Shoppe, a Swannanoa favorite that’s been serving up delicious home-cooked meals to locals and visitors alike for many years, is making plans to reopen in a brand new location. The eatery, previously located at 2345 U.S. 70, has been closed since March 12 due to the pandemic. The new location, at 2077D U.S. 70 (the space formerly occupied by El Lemon, near 6 Pac Smokestack), is larger, with room for more tables. There are also covered patio tables for those who prefer to eat outside.
When owner Nancy Allen opens the doors of the new and improved Breakfast Shoppe, customers can expect the same great food and friendly service, with the same terrific staff. Allen is hoping all of the interior improvements (including adding plexiglass barriers between tables) and inspections will be completed in time for a reopening by the end of October. The Breakfast Shoppe will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner 7-days a week, from 6 a.m. – 6 p.m. Check their Facebook page for updates.
Welcome back, Breakfast Shoppe!
