Save the Dates for Groovin’ on Grovemont

by FANS Admin
April 20th, 2018

Groovin’ on Grovemont, Swannanoa’s popular outdoor concert series, will return to Grovemont Square for its 16th season on Tuesday evenings, July 10, July 24 and August 7. The planning committee is busy working on a great lineup of musical acts and other entertainment for the whole family, so mark your calendars now. The festivities begin around 6 p.m. each evening.

This year’s concert series will take place under a beautiful new performance pavilion in Grovemont Square. The pavilion will be built by volunteers this spring, with funding provided by private donors, contributions from the Friends of the Swannanoa Library and the Swannanoa Community Council, and grants from Buncombe County Recreation services and the Black Mountain – Swannanoa Valley Endowment Fund (an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina).

The pavilion project is a true community effort; your support is needed and much appreciated. If you’d like to contribute, you can make a secure online donation at grovemontpark.org/donate, or mail a check to Swannanoa Community Council, PO Box 1008, Swannanoa, NC 28778, with “Pavilion Project” in the memo line.
