It’s time for spring cleaning and that means you’ve probably found some “stuff” you no longer need. As we all know, one person’s trash is another person’s treasure, and nowhere is that more apparent than at the twice-yearly Swannanoa Community Yard Sale, taking place on Saturday, May 19, from 8 a.m. – 1 p.m. Dozens of sellers and hundreds of buyers will descend on the Swannanoa Ingles parking lot (2299 U.S. Hwy. 70) to hawk their wares and shop for bargains. Don’t miss out!
Registration for seller spaces ($10 each; bring your own tables) will begin on April 21. Details on how to register will be sent out via email, and will also be available on the Friends and Neighbors of Swannanoa (FANS) website (this site) and Facebook page. The sale will go on rain or shine (but let’s hope for shine!).
The Community Yard Sale is sponsored by FANS, and all proceeds from space rentals help to support FANS‘ work in the community. We’d like to thank Ingles for allowing us to hold the yard sale in their parking lot – one of Swannanoa’s highest-visibility locations!
