This past spring, Swannanoa native Brenda Park Hughes won a regional Emmy Award for a WWII documentary that she wrote, produced and co-directed. Marching Once More follows more than 100 WWII veterans who journeyed to Belgium and Luxembourg for the 60th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. Marching Once More premiered on UNC-TV in 2011 and was distributed nationally through American Public Television. To learn more about this inspiring film, or to order the DVD, please click here.
