What Swannanoa Valley thinks about
its land and its preservation
An exhibition “Thinking About the
Land: Results of a PhotoVoice Project in the Swannanoa Valley” will be discussed
at the Black Mountain Library on June 4 at 7 pm. Last year, Swannanoa Valley
residents were given cameras to photograph things that were significant to them,
and then asked about the pictures. Dr. Anne Sourdril spent a year interviewing
them, and these are her fascinating results.
