Sheriff Van Duncan and other representatives from the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office will host a public meeting at 6:00 p.m. on August 11 at the First Baptist Church of Swannanoa, 503 Park Street. The Sheriff’s Community Oriented Problem Solving (COPS) Team has been working in Swannanoa for the past month, identifying areas of public concern and working with local residents, businesses and organizations to address those concerns. Come learn about the COPS Team’s findings, and the results of their efforts in our community.
