Description Experienced or novice, young or old, join us for a season of good crops, tasty food & healthy air!

The Swannanoa Community Garden is an ideal place for people to grow their own food, share their enthusiasm for gardening and to simply enjoy the outdoors. The garden consists of multiple plots that individuals or groups can rent, plant and care for throughout the season. Renters can grow food for themselves, share among others, sell… whatever they want!

Prices are based on size & location and are for an entire year. As plots become unavailable they will be removed from this list.

8 x 25 Foot Plot: $18
11 x 19 Foot Plot: $18
10.5 x 19 Foot Plot: $18
10 x 19.5 Foot Plot: $17
19 x 19.5 Foot Plot: $25 (located near trees)
11 x 17 Foot Plot: $16
11 x 16 Foot Plot: $16
13 x 17 Foot Plot: $16
14 x 14.5 Foot Plot: $18
12 x 14 Foot Plot: $15
11.5 x 20 Foot Plot: $20

Water is available for use & is included in the price of rental, though there may be a fee if too much water is used. Any compost that is available is also included in the rent.

These prices are not necessarily set in stone. The garden management is always willing to find a way to help gardeners out through sponsorships, donating seeds & materials, etc. Multiple people can also rent a single plot and share the land. At the same time one person (or group of people)

can also rent multiple plots.

Don’t be intimidated! If you don’t have the money, time or experience we are always willing to find ways to help you out! We can find experienced gardeners to provide assistance, work out a price deal or share materials. Just let us know and we can work something out!
