The new Swannanoa Community Garden, located off Lake Eden Road, is really taking shape, thanks to the hard work of many dedicated volunteers. The garden is sponsored by Friends and Neighbors of Swannanoa (FANS) and is expected to be up and running in time for the spring growing season. The garden is located in a beautiful and peaceful spot with fertile soil, abundant sunshine, and mountain views. Recently, volunteer Marc Eden made the garden “official” by helping to install the new sign pictured below. FANS would like to thank sign-maker extraordinaire Mary Soyenova for her help in creating this beautiful sign.
